Meet Shandra R. Pettway, MA

The Next GenHERation Life Coach

Shandra R. Pettway is a wife, mom, educator, and certified life coach empowering the next generation of women to embrace who they are while teaching them healthier ways to cope with life challenges.

With more than 20 years of experience working in education, Shandra has always had a passion for the youth, namely for mentoring young girls. As an educator, she was adamant about connecting with her students on a more personable level, serving as a listening ear who never judged. After working with a teen life coach for her eldest son, Shandra decided to pursue a career in life coaching for adolescent and young adult women, with a focus on helping them find healthier ways to express themselves and be confident in their skin.

Shandra is the cool, sisterly mentor figure she never had growing up. As a teen girl, she struggled with self-esteem issues and felt like she couldn't be open with her parents about sex and other feelings she was experiencing during her transition into womanhood. This sparked Shandra's passion for being a sounding board that holds space for the next generation of women trying to navigate their way through life challenges. As a mom and teen life coach who remembers the challenges she experienced as a teenager, Shandra is here to help connect the dots between parents or guardians and their teen girls.
